Sunshine Pediatric Day Centers

Pediatric Care

Investment Thesis

As a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (“PPECC”) for children with complex medical needs, Sunshine offers a unique clinical model, including transportation and full-day programming, to allow parents time to focus on their employment and other duties. Children treated in PPECCs can receive a higher quality of care at a lower cost to the healthcare system when compared to treatment via private duty nursing. We partnered with the Founder and CEO of Sunshine to support the opening of new locations in Texas, growth into additional states, and the addition of complimentary services.

Acute Behavioral Health

Sector

Behavioral Health

Investment Thesis

ABH provides evidence-based behavioral treatment within a residential setting for adolescents with severe mental health issues. The company's approach combines out-of-home care with psychiatric services, with a consistent focus on stabilizing, correcting, and reintegrating young people with their families and communities. This market segment has historically been underserved, with states struggling to find providers to help their growing populations. We partnered with an experienced management team to acquire existing facilities, expand their bed count, create a continuum of care, and establish ABH as a provider of choice.
